Can you take your dog to the beach?
This is one of the most commonly asked questions regarding the Beaches in Destin and Miramar Beach and the short answer is that dogs are NOT allowed on the beach.
Few counties allows local residents with dog-on-beach permits to walk their leashed dogs on the beach, Walton County property owners or permanent residents must obtain a permit from the county clerk each year to walk dogs on the beach.
